Safe Streets
Our Safety Committee helps keep our Village neighborhood a safer place to live, and fosters community partnership with our Police Department.
Remember, for any criminal activity, whether in progress or after the fact, you are encouraged to dial 911 – every crime, every time. 911 is one of the many methods that the City uses to track crime statistics and aids in determining and allocating PPD staffing and resources.
When calling 911 to report a prior crime (e.g., happened over night, hours prior, etc.), you may request for the 911 dispatcher to leave your phone number in the job/call report
