QVNA sincerely appreciates your financial support of the Summer at Courtyard enrichment program for Queen Village kids, age 5-11. We’re proud that this is our fifth year of managing this six-week program that engages kids in activities that are both educational and fun.
Under the direction of our professional program managers, we rely on dozens of Queen Village volunteers to mentor attendees in reading and computer skills. Each week kids participate in arts activities, age-appropriate science experiments, cultural activities, playground fun, and a field trip that exposes them to Philadelphia attractions like the zoo and the Franklin Institute. (And, for the past two years, we’ve been able to take the kids to an afternoon Phillies game!)
Best of all, because of the generosity of our donors, Summer at Courtyard allows 35-40 children the opportunity to participate at no cost to their families. Breakfast and lunch are also provided.
QVNA is a volunteer-driven nonprofit association. We rely on memberships, donations, and parking lot proceeds to fulfill our mission of community stewardship, advocacy and service.
Thank you for helping QVNA improve the quality of life in Queen Village.
