At Settlement Music School. 5th & Queen Sts. Free. Our focus is to play music our way and have fun, with an open door no-judgement musical culture, supportive of ourselves, our community and other participants. Welcoming to all, musicians and vocalists both old and young can discover and share popular rock, R&B, folk, and country songs as a collaborative “small “d” democratic pastime. We play songs acoustically in our fun, inclusive way with a little less focus on a faithful imitation of the original artists. We select songs from a large collection of member curated song books using a “round the circle, pick or pass” method You can drop in or RSVP on Meetup. Bring your favorite instrument OR just bring your voice.
