Riverside Hall, 916 S. Swanson Street. Noon - 1pm: A moving meditation through a routine of lower and upper body movements, like a dance. By linking the moves together you'll begin practicing 'The Form', the name given to Tai Chi while in motion. Increase your flexibility, improve your balance & coordination. Calm your mind.
Please wear comfortable and loose-fitting clothing, with sneakers socks or bare feet.

Location: 3rd District Headquarters, 11th & Wharton Streets. This is a monthly public meeting where residents can discuss their concerns, hosted by Capt Brian Hartzell, Commanding Officer of the Police 3rd District (which includes Queen Village). 1) The Washington Avenue Connector project with Chris Dougherty of the Delaware River Waterfront Corporation, 2) the Bethel Burying Ground Memorial along with Aparna Palatino from the Dept of Parks & Rec, Kelly Lee from the Office of Arts & Culture, and Councilman Mark Squilla. Come hear plans, ask questions, and be informed about the changes coming to Weccacoe playground, and 3) Future plans for the Shot Tower.
