Volunteers needed to help deliver QVNA’s Magazine
The QVNA Magazine is published 6 times a year (September, November, January, March, May and July). It includes popular features such as the President’s Column, movie reviews, spotlights on local businesses, upcoming events, as well as updates and announcements about neighborhood projects and initiatives.
We rely on and are currently seeking volunteers to transport bundles of the magazine to block volunteers– a little like a “paper route” delivery, but this happens just 6 times a year and takes about an hour. Small shopping carts are provided to hold the bundles, alternatively you could use a car or wagon! If you have the time and like to walk, it’s a great way to explore parts of the neighborhood.
We are also seeking volunteers to distribute the magazine to specific blocks, this consists of putting a magazine in mail slots (takes about 15 minutes of your time). If your block is listed below or you don’t live on the listed blocks but enjoy walking and happy to help us out, please let us know. It’s easy and we sincerely appreciate that you’re helping to keep the entire neighborhood informed!
