QVNA’s Community Grant Program provides funding to help improve the quality of life of Queen Village residents.  We accept grant requests for a wide range of projects and programs, such as enhancing parks, gardens, playgrounds, clean & green projects, and historic preservation. We also accept grant applications for in-school, after-school, and summer academic and/or learning enrichment programs.

Grant applications are evaluated by the QVNA Grants Committee based on the:

  1. Degree to which the proposed project meets a community need
  2. Clarity of the project description
  3. Budget detail that reflects well-defined needs and reasonable costs
  4. Capacity of applicant organization to complete the project

In past years, QVNA grants have helped to fund projects like the Fulton Street Mural, a joint quality of life signage project with Paradigm Gallery and local street artist Kid Hazo, scholastic endeavors at Meredith and Nebinger Elementary, as well as improvements Southwark Queen Village Community Garden, Mario Lanza Park, Beck Park, Friends of Shot Tower and others.
