QVNA is accepting applications for the Spring 2019 Community Grants Program through March 1, 2019. Complete information is online at QVNA.org/grants.
Applications for grants must focus on how the project or program helps improve the quality of life of Queen Village residents.
Recipients of community grants have access to awarded funds for one year, and must document the impact of their completed project or program. In 2018, QVNA awarded $10,000 in Community Grants.
Grant applications may be submitted for a wide range of projects and programs, including enhancing parks, gardens, playgrounds, and neighborhood safety; educational and after-school programs; clean & green projects; historic preservation; and more.
The final count is in: QVNA removed 784 bags of leaves from the sidewalks of Queen Village — the equivalent of 5 elephants!
When QVNA hires ACAM “Yellow Jackets” to blow, bag and remove leaves to make our sidewalks safer, we really mean business!
QVNA is all about community stewardship, advocacy and service for you.
