QVNA’s Kids Summer Program needs Volunteers

Summer at Courtyard is a partnership between QVNA, The Courtyard Residents Council, Better Tomorrows and  The Michaels Organization, to provide free summer enrichment programming to the children of Queen Village.
The program is based out of the Courtyard Community Room, 1021 S. 4th St.

Watch out for the Yellow Jackets!

Sunday afternoons a team of QVNA Yellow Jackets attack curbside trash dropped by people as they walk from South Street.

As part of Queen Village Neighbors Association’s commitment to help keep our community clean and green, we invest in hiring curbside sweepers for the five major north-south streets from Bainbridge Street to Washington Avenue:

  • West side of Front Street
  • Both sides of 2nd, 3rd, 5th, and Passyunk from Fitzwater to Queen Streets
  • East side of 6th Street

South Street Headhouse District invests in in sweeping these same streets from Lombard to Bainbridge Street, all of 4th Street (Fabric Row) from Lombard to Washington, and South Street from Front to 11th Street. Thank you, SSHD!
