Watch out for the Yellow Jackets!

Every Sunday afternoon a team of QVNA Yellow Jackets attack curbside trash dropped by people as they walk from South Street.  And that trash really adds up — because every month, QVNA removes ONE TON OF TRASH from Queen Village.

Queen Village Neighbors Association helps improve the quality of life of residents.  That’s why we invest in hiring curbside sweepers for the five major north-south streets from Bainbridge Street to Washington Avenue:

  • West side of Front Street
  • Both sides of 2nd, 3rd, 5th
  • Moyamensing Avenue
  • Passyunk from Fitzwater to Queen Streets
  • East side of 6th Street

South Street Headhouse District invests in sweeping these same streets from Lombard to Bainbridge Street, all of 4th Street (Fabric Row) from Lombard to Christian, and South Street from Front to 11th Street. Thank you, SSHD!
