Last week, two 200 year-old trees were removed from Mario Lanza Park. One tree was dead, the other dying.
The photo above shows the enormity of one of the trees removed.
Friends of Mario Lanza Park, a group of Queen Village volunteers have been working hard with arborists to have all of the parks’ trees inoculated and trimmed to keep them healthy. QVNA salutes the hard work of these caring neighbors. Much work is yet to be done to save the remaining trees. They need your help.
Please donate to the Mario Lanza Park Tree Fund.
