Community service is at the heart of what we do. In addition to our many services to Queen Village residents, we’re proud to have:
- Reunited a set of house keys with their owner after we read they were stolen in a home burglary. A QVNA volunteer brought us the keys, we contacted the homeowner who reported them missing, and fortunately they were hers.
- Rescued an unopened 14-lb Amazon package “delivered” to a street corner. We kept the package safe until its owner claimed it.
- Found two abandoned vintage mink coats still with sales tags and in great condition, and turned them in to the South Street Police Mini Station. (Fingers crossed that their rightful shop owner is found!)
These are just three recent examples of what QVNA’s staff does for you.
