WECCACOE PLAYGROUND COMMUNITY ROOM
4TH & CATHARINE STS.
Various Neighborhood Schools throughout Philadelphia are experiencing a renaissance, of sorts, with renewed interest in principal, teacher and program support, fundraising and schoolyard rehab projects, to name a few.
This vitality is attracting many new families while still striving to serve current families.
Sometimes that leads to overcrowded classrooms, and even a lottery.
What is capacity and how is it measured?
How can parents address potential issues of capacity at their schools?
How can parents work with their Principals and the District to form a Capacity Action Plan?
What is the best avenue to realize goals in education?
Officials from the School District of Philadelphia will be on hand to answer questions and hear solutions. Join Superintendent Dr. Hite, Chief Operating Officer Fran Burns and Chief of Student Support, Karyn Lynch for a conversation about Capacity.
