QVNA Board Condemns Vandalism

As you may be aware, in the wake of the election, politically, racially and religiously offensive vandalism has been reported throughout the city, some of it in our neighborhood. The Queen Village Neighbors Association (QVNA) Board condemns all such acts.

Please report vandalism to 911. Surveillance video of incidents may be sent directly to Lt. Goodson of the South Street Mini-Station at michael.goodson@phila.gov. You may also report graffiti to the QVNA office at (215) 339-0975 or info@qvna.org. We are taking steps to supplement removal efforts and spread messages of unification.

In addition to holding Board elections, QVNA will use our November 17 General Meeting to discuss community-building and how to bridge the divides made evident recently. The meeting will be held at Shot Tower Recreation Center, 101-31 Carpenter Street, 7:00pm.

During this transitional time and at all times we encourage residents to exercise compassion and use their voices respectfully and peacefully.
