Call for Board Nominees

The QVNA Board is made up of five officers and eight Board members, all of whom serve two-year terms. The terms of the eight Board positions are staggered, with four Board members elected every year.
To be eligible to run for the Board, you must be a resident of Queen Village and have attended and signed in at any two QVNA-sponsored meetings.  Your personal skills and interests, a commitment to work with others, and your enthusiasm–it’s all part of the mix of what contributes to a well-functioning board.  QVNA cannot accomplish its mission without a board whose members work together, and who think in both the short and long term.
If you are interested and eligible – and can commit to the first Thursday of every month (except July and August) for Board Meetings, submit a photograph and 200 word statement about yourself and why you want to run to   The last day to submit a nomination is October 20th and will be published as received on our website.  The election will take place at the General Meeting on November 17, 2016 at 7pm.
