It's Freecycling - an online service used as a bulletin board where people can both list things they want to discard, or post requests of stuff they need. The one stipulation is that everything is free.

The Philadelphia Freecycle Network can be accessed at www.phillyfreecycle.org. The Network estimates that since it started up last November, more than 5.5 tons of items have been diverted from the landfill. So the next time you have an item that's too good to throw out and no one to give it to, Freecycle it!
